The form of the license agreement with the author(s) of the scientific journal of the Russian Academy of Sciences (available for download).

The form of the license agreement with the author(s), posted on the official resources of the Russian Academy of Sciences, is the only one approved by the Russian Academy of Sciences for use.

In accordance with the license agreement, the author grants the Russian Academy of Sciences an exclusive license to use a previously unpublished article in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

No fee is charged to authors.

Online submission of manuscripts is carried out through the editorial and publishing system of scientific journals of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the national platform of periodical scientific publications of the Russian Center for Scientific Research (Click to follow).

To use the system, the user must register and log in in accordance with the rules for using the platform.

Rules for Authors

The general requirements for an article to be published in the journal “Вестник Российской академии наук / Herald of the Russian Academy of Sciences” include:

• the content compliance with the profile of the Journal;
• the style of presentation is close to the popular one due to the interdisciplinary nature of the publication;
• the formulation of problems that are generally relevant to the scientific community or the presentation of events and facts that are interesting not only for professionals in a particular scientific field, but also for specialists in related fields.

Technical requirements:

• the volume of a problem article is usually 15-18 pages, but should not exceed 40 thousand characters;
• the volume of a review or an article for the section "Scientific life" is 6─12 pages;
• the text should be typed in the Word program in 12 fonts size, with 1.5 line spacing, with margins so that the editor can edit it.

The article should be preceded by a detailed abstract (2-3 paragraphs) and keywords. The list of references is placed at the end of the article, the numbering of references is as they appear in the text, in the text the reference number is indicated in square brackets.

In the list of references, pages of journal articles and articles in collections should be indicated (interval, for example, pp. 133-145). Substantial footnotes should be page-by-page. It is advisable that the list of references should not exceed 30-35 sources.

Illustrations (drawings, photos) should be included in the text of the article and, in addition, they should be sent as separate files, preferably in "tif" or "JPG" format.

It should be borne in mind that “Вестник Российской академии наук / Herald of the Russian Academy of Sciences” is a non–color journal, so drawings and photos should be clearly distinguishable and informative in black and white. The illustrations from the presentations must be processed accordingly. All English signatures must be translated into Russian (including values, for example, microns, nm).

It is necessary to provide information about the author: full name, patronymic, and surname; place of work and position; academic degree; contact phone numbers and email address. If the article is accepted for publication, it is necessary to provide a photo of the author (close to the official style) in electronic form, of good quality with high resolution.
